These are just some links to a few of the games, companies, and artists I am inspired by.
This game very quickly became one of my favorites when I first played it, because of its bizarre, surreal story line set in a unique sci-fi environment, and awesome gameplay. On top of this it draws some inspiration from another one of my favorite works of sci-fi: the SCP foundation. I'm generally inspired by most of Remedy Entertainment's games, and I love the visuals in them.
One of the most unique games I've ever played, with some really cool concepts and another surreal story line that has inspired a lot of my ideas since playing it. I'm very inspired by Hideo Kojima and his game studio as well.
I had to include this game in here, simply because it is my favorite game. It has one of the best stories in any game I've ever played, made me feel every emotion I can think of while playing it, and its dream-like, hand drawn, pastel colored art style is incredible. This game has become my biggest inspiration for entering the world of creating video games, and is a huge driving force for me as an artist and writer.
One of my favorite game studios who made two of my favorite games, Stories Untold and Observation. I really like the art style of both of these games, and their unique and innovative gameplay pair perfectly with some really clever story telling.
